Gothic in the glass and ready to take on all comers, an avalanche of dark cherries, sweet plums and prunes on the nose following through to a medium body with chalky tannins and texture, savory minerals and briary tones that straddle the beautiful line between harmony and hedonism. Aged in 20% new French Oak for 18 months, the intense medley of blue and black fruits complement the smooth finish, all wrapped in supple tannins that dance across the palate.

A complex nose of ripe black fruits, black olives, and a hint of iron to go with medium to full-bodied richness on the palate. This ripe, textured, mouth-filling effort has enough tannins to warrant a few years in the cellar, and I suspect it will evolve nicely through 2031.
